A Bookish Season ~ Live The Season, Read The Mood | A Bookish Season. Seasonal Living. Creative Marketing.

Welcome to A BOOKISH SEASON…

This new online space is a mash-up of my creative journey, exploring nature’s rhythms, and my love for deep diving into literary worlds.

My intention is to offer paths to joy, well-being, and creativity through connecting our reading habits with the changing seasons.

Alongside my usual seasonal living content, I’ll be suggesting carefully curated book lists & reading rituals that match the seasonal mood, not the algorithm.

Reading has always been a much-leaned-on pillar of support for me, and I want to explore what happens when we intentionally align our reading lives with the turning year, finding books that mirror and support our mood or perhaps challenge us to travel new paths as the seasons shift.

What you’ll find here…

Omnivorous Reading: Encouragement to read diversely & find the joy or value in many different genres.

Relaxed Reviews: treating fiction & non-fiction books with passion & enthusiasm, plus sharing recommendations from all of you.

Seasonal Mood Checks: Honest chat about how we feel as the seasons move and shift.

What you won’t find here…

Genre Snobbery: Devaluing certain genres or making anyone feel less than for their reading choices.

That’s a hard pass.

Prescriptive Reading: The idea that there is a correct way to read or a list of books everyone should read.

Hell no.

Aligning with our seasons is a concept deeply woven into my life and remains an integral thread throughout the fabric of my creative work – I hope you’ll enjoy journeying this new path with me and find some beautiful new books to add to your bookshelves.

I can’t wait to begin sharing much more of my curated seasonal reading content and to find out which books and genres you reach for as the seasons shift.

Join me at @abookishseason over on Instagram as I seek out a life and a library that shifts with the seasons. Follow along for more curated lists, honest reviews, and a bit of chat about how we feel as the year turns.
